Fully Cooked Smoked Turkey Drumsticks
Where do the turkey drumsticks come from?The turkey drumsticks come from North Carolina fully cooked, smoked and frozen. Kala Kokua, LLC has their product stocked locally for quick and efficient service.
Are the turkey drumsticks cooked?
Turkey drumsticks are fully cooked/smoked and frozen. Drumsticks are smoked in 160 degree ovens at our state-of-the-art further-processing facility. A smoke-flavored mist is sprayed on the surface of the drumsticks during the cook cycle.
Shelf Life – In excess of 9 months frozen, 45 days refrigerated and sealed.
How do we heat the turkey drumsticks?There are several ways to heat the turkey drumsticks, oven, hibachi and 10 minutes in the microwave. We do provide heating instructions which are very simple.
How do you pack the turkey drumsticks and how big are they?The turkey drumsticks come sealed in plastic bags. The drumsticks are (2) two 13-16 oz drumsticks per 2 pk.
How much lead time do we need to do a fund raising event?
Depending on quantity of your event, we can set you up and have you selling tickets in a week. All we will need is the quantity you plan to sell; the date, pick-up location and time of your event (start to end).

Ticket printing will take approximately 5 business days to complete. Kala Kokua, LLC fundraising tickets are numbered and custom colored to prevent duplication and counterfeiting

Larger events we recommend a minimum of 2 -3 months to be well prepared and organized, but we will work with your Fundraising Chairperson from the beginning to the end to ensure a successful event.
What are your minimums?
We have no minimum order, but recommend ticket sales for events 200 or more. We will provide our benefits, free ticket printing, free delivery, free bags and free heating instructions for any event. You will only pay for 2 pk Drumsticks sold and not for the amount of tickets ordered.
Do customers come and walk up to purchase turkey legs?
Kala Kokua, LLC will be able to provide fundraiser banners for your event that has proven to generate walk up sales.

Kala Kokua, LLC will provide you with a complimentary banner for your event. We also post your fundraising event on our website, to inform the many callers we get asking to purchase Smoked Turkey Drumsticks to your fundraising event.

What percent of the people do not come to pick up the turkey legs?
On the average we have a 7-10% non-pick up ratio.
What do we do with the turkey legs not picked up?
We recommend having coolers with ice so that you can transport any left over turkey legs till you can store them in a freezer.

At the end of your event, Kala Kokua, LLC will inventory and provide complimentary removal and storage of the remaining products up to (3) three months. These products which have been paid for can be used for the organization’s follow-up fundraiser. This will eliminate the challenge of "What do we do with all of the leftovers?"
Kala Kokua, LLC will provide complimentary delivery for the organization’s follow up fundraising event.
Do you have any sales incentive programs?
Kala Kokua, LLC has an incentive program for events 1,000 or more 2pks sold (not tickets ordered). We will gladly review our program with you when we meet to plan your Fundraising Event!!!
