Kala Kokua’s Fundraising Price List 2011

No minimums, No deposits, Free tickets printing, Free delivery ( Oahu only)

We provide the following items to sell at $10.00 each

Kala Kokua, LLC  will provide a maximum of (3) products per event

You sell your tickets for $10.00 and your profit is $3.50 and $4.00 depending on product selection as noted above

(*before HI State GE tax .05%).


Kala Kokua’s OAHU Fundraising Program


We provide our unique benefits of NO minimums, NO deposits required and we print your tickets and deliver them to you upfront at NO cost!

...A surcharge of 8 cents per ticket will be added to your invoice only for unsold tickets sales under 50% of the ticket request order and for all cancelled events." We also provide free delivery and plastics bags for distribution of our products.

We respect your privacy.  The information provided to us is used strictly for the purpose of working with your organization and will not be given or sold to a 3rd party. 

By submitting your ticket request(s) online, you acknowledge both the Primary and Secondary contact info provided are Authorized Representatives for your Fundraising Organization or Group and allow permission for a Fundraising Service Manager to contact you to confirm & print your tickets once you have decided to do a Kala Kokua, LLC. Fundraising Event and to schedule to have your tickets delivered.   We will be able to provide you with your printed tickets within 1-2 business days.  

Once we print and deliver your tickets, you can begin to sell, sell, sell!!   We will contact you again 2-3 days before your event to get your order and to confirm our delivery time and location. You will be able to add to your order up until the day before your event. 

On the day of the event, we will deliver your order to the pick up site about 45 minutes prior to the pick up time. All you will need is a 10’ x 10’ portable tent or shaded location to store your frozen product. Our frozen Kalua Pork, Boneless Teriyaki Chicken and Redondo’s Portuguese Sausage will remain very cold when stored in a cool area for the 3 hour event and you may also bring coolers to store your product. We will provide plastic bags and printed heating instructions for your distribution. We will give you the invoice and receive your payment in cash or check on that day.

[Kala Kokua Requirements for shipping to Kauai Groups]  

We do require a 50% Deposit to commit and proceed with shipping out Kauai orders via Young Brothers.

 

Leaves Oahu Mondays & Thursdays

Arrives on Kauai Tuesdays & Fridays

Perishable Products must be picked up by 11:00am on arrival day

YB Shipping Rates start at $42.00 up to 500lbs of product.  To minimize your shipping costs we recommend choosing your fundraising items by grouping them by one of Kala Kokua's Partnering Vendors or choose to fundraise with 1 item at at time:

Please be advised that Young Brothers charges $191.00 per night to hold in their freezers billed COD to group (separate from shipping billed on the Kala Kokua Final Invoice).  This is important to consider when choosing your pick up date.    

FYI - to give you a general idea on the shipping costs to Kauai from Oahu:

300 Pau Hana Packs shipped to Kauai via Young Brothers $56.56

500 Turkey Drumsticks shipped to Kauai via Young Brothers $66.63


[Pick up the cargo at Young Brothers directly or work with Kauai Producers for additional services!]

 

Scot Nonaka of Kauai Producers (808) 245-4044 has also partnered with us to help our Kala Kokua Fundraising Groups as an additional resource option with (minimal cost) Pick Up, Storing & Delivery Options perfect for weekend Events.  If you authorize him to pick and store only rather than you picking up at Young Brothers, you can pick up directly from Kauai Producers or work with him to also deliver to your site on the day of your event.  Note below for timeframes when selecting your Event Date & Pick Up Times.

The Groups Fundraising Coordinator is responsible to work out the details & make additional payment directly to Kauai Producers for the services below including granting authorization for Kala Kokua LLC. to forward him a copy of your Young Brothers Bill of Lading if you choose to have him make the pick up on your behalf.

Between Kala Kokua & Kauai Producers-

   ·   Palletized shipments only secured and shrink wrapped.  (In case there are any damages---he will inspect from YB before taking)

   ·   Requests that Kala Kokua fax or email him the copy of the YB bill of lading after drop off is made at YB----so he has a copy of it barge day---

Between Kauai Groups & Kauai Producers-

   1. Pickup charge and store over night @ 5 cents a pound (flat rate) not charged per day

   2. Pickup, Store and Delivery to your site @ 10 cents a pound (flat rate) not charged per day

Delivery days to the Waimea Side and North Shore (Mon/Wed/Fri) between 11am - 1pm

Pick up directly from Kauai Producers available M-F until 4pm Sat until noon Closed on Sundays

EXAMPLE 1 - Friday Event, Schedule shipment  to Kauai on Tuesday if choosing optional Kauai Producer Services

EXAMPLE 2 - The Kapaa Pop Warner Association used his service and for  approx. $80 he picked up, stored and deliver their 500 (2pk) Turkey Drumsticks for their Kala Kokua Fundraising Event which they sold at the Kauai County Fair.

 

[Finalizing your Event Order]

  1. Your Kala Kokua Fundraising Service Manager will contact the Groups Fundraising Coordinator to confirm status of *pre-counts for the products being sold 2 weeks prior the event date. Set a deadline for to collect your pre-counts so you will have them when you are contacted.

 

*We encourage everyone to keep selling even after the pre-counts are confirmed.  You may have some last minute ones that you will be able to add prior to confirming your Final Counts.

 

What you want to do as Fundraising Coordinators is to enforce your pre-sale deadline to prevent you from chasing parents for their counts & payments due!  If you have not had experience in the past as a Fundraising Coordinator please expect that it is highly likely that a hand few will forget so the last minute deadline is a grace period to help relieve any stress for this kind of situation (that only you will know about).

 

  1. Once the Final Count is confirmed, Kala Kokua LLC. will then email an invoice for the *50% deposit including any additional last minute add on sales required to prepare the order delivery.
  2. The payment(s) must be received and cleared 1 week prior to the shipment date to confirm the cargo shipment.  Check or Money order payable to Kala Kokua, LLC.
  3. Kala Kokua will add the YB Shipping Charges to the balance due and will email the Final Invoice within a few days after your event. 

 

We ask that payment for the Final Balance be received within 7 days from date of final invoice is emailed.
